HOW WE CAME TO BE

Naughty N Nice was not designed by the ordinary adult store owner. On the contrary, we had never done anything like this before.
Once the decision to build our store had been made we also knew it had to be designed with women and couples in mind. The object here was to build a store where women and couples could shop together in a bright and safe environment for all their adult needs.

Now you might wonder how an average couple like us ended up here. Well read on.

Have you ever found yourself wanting to pick up something romantic and sexy for your anniversary so you grab the Yellow Pages (I am dating my self now) to find a local adult store and jump in the car thinking 'How bad can it be?'.

On the way there you imagine the pleasant surprise your lover will have when you treat him to your new gadgets, lotions and edible No-No's.

Upon reaching your chosen destination you enter with a deep breath holding your head slightly forward to bravely plunge inside. As your eyes adjust to the dimly lit, smoke filled atmosphere you allow yourself to see that there is maybe half a dozen men inside, all of which have halted looking at the material in their hands and are now looking at you. As you venture (in the opposite direction) you notice the stained carpets and the door with the neon sign above it donning "arcade" (and we don't mean pinball machines). There is a man just exiting this door and upon laying his eyes on you has offered you a deep smirk like smile which he probably meant to be flattering and complimentary but has instead made you feel as if you have shrunk enough to fit into any walnut shell (that you wish someone would offer you now so you could roll yourself out the door unnoticed).

This was what happened to me.

I promptly returned home and spent the next three hours bending my husbands ear (I wore one out and had to use the other one) about how horrible it was...

...and why can't there be a nice place....women shouldn't have to feel that way just to shop.....and we should be able to go into any adult store and hold our heads up....being romantic isn't sleazy so why does everyone make you feel that way about it.....and this is the new millennium....and there should be a store for women and couples!!!
